Minding my "B"s and "C"s

"B" is for Brittany.

Miss Brittany turned 23.
Looks like she's praying for Prince Charming to bring her cake.
This pic was taken at Julie's in Vancouver. It was Tyson's 1st birthday party. Brittany was the only PRINCESS there. Julie bought her a little crown.
Now she likes Tiffany's and diamonds.
NOT MY FAULT!
Brittany is a law clerk. She works hard, and is very very creative. She also has a beautiful singing voice.

Colt will be 19 on Sat., legal drinking age here in Ontario, Canada.
As Peter Parker said in Spiderman,
"With great power comes great responsibility".
And your mother says, "Be safe ALWAYS".

Colt is in his second year law at Carleton University in Ottawa.
Great kid, in and out.
Lucky us.

SO PROUD OF BOTH OF YOU.

And what I'm lovin today, besides my children.

My cousins Lucky and Kenny, moi and my sister one fine Christmas day in Oakville, Ontario.
I'm not wearing glasses ; )
My Aunty Lucienne used to make Deb & I our outfits. I loved wearing my white tights and black patent leather shoes. I also LOVE my cousins.

My vintage santa. Look at him riding that tree!

Oh, and NONE of this yet.

WEIRD.

Such beautiful, handsome children. Isn't it wonderful to watch them become adults.
Develop their talents and strengths.

HEY, I noticed the CUTE little red rocking horse, just like the one you sent me. Love it.
All your pink stuff is so YOU. You always make me smile and I adore all your photos.
No snow yet eh.....want some of ours. Well, actually we don't have A LOT, but wow is it ever chilly today with that cutting wind.

I love your cute family and the mom and dad who raised them.
xxxxooooo

Oh one more thing.
Yes I tried to go outside today to get some "winter photos" of me, and IT WAS COLD, and the horses were not co-operating.

anyway, just wanted to also say how fun it is to stroll through your sidebar photos. fun stuff.
The one that says "lets go somewhere and Judge people" had me giggling.

How Precious Claudie! Your children are some of the sweetest young adults I've "EVER" met! And I sincerely mean that! I love the one scripture that says, "Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they're old they won't depart from it". (I'm paraphrasing there...) ;) But, seriously...you've been a GREAT Mom...and taught your children well. They are super QUALITY people...and that says SO MUCH about you and Randy. Your vintage pics of the family and always telling a "sentimental" journey always puts a big :) on my face! It was great having our visit last night. I LOVE & MISS YOU TO THE MOON & BACK GIRLIE! And hey...that Pink Feather Christas tree looks totally FAB! ;) LOVE YOU! ~CC

Good morning Claudie, I LOVE your sweet post today. Your children are awesome, just like you and Randy. The way children are raised speaks for itself. You have beautiful darling children that are wonderful adults. A fine tribute to their parents. Special birthday wishes to Brittany and Colt. Our second oldest grandson will be 20 this month. He has a personality like Colt. Fine young men inside and out.

Love the kitty pic and your Christmas treasures. The pink tree is Ooh La La! I love when you share photos of you and your family. Such a darling photo of you and everyone.

I am in high gear today. Andrea is coming to visit for 4 days. She lost 35 lbs. I can't wait to see her. I have plans for some fun and she can help me with the party. I'm all done decorating inside but it has been raining so we still have the outside to do. Nothing would get done if it wasn't for the last minute...My Motto. HA!

I do love you so Claudie,

Ma chère Claudie,

Thank you for always coming to visit with such a spirit of love. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH MA BELLE! I tell you, I wish I could magically fly to all of you dear hearts and just give you a hug for all the joy you give me. Isn't that red velvet cake amazing? YOUR TANTE would make you one, and she is still alive? Bless her dear heart. My momma made me chocolate cake once in a while and I would come home to see it sitting on the dining room table, after school. Oh those were the days. I have to tell you, yesterday at school, I was teaching the kids how to write a poem called, "WHERE I'M FROM." I showed them my poem to give an example. The part where I speak of my family Christmas traditions, I started to cry. Just thinking of my mom.....I hug you dearest....Anita

Hi, Claudette! I'm visiting... I saw your blog on someone's sidebar, and I remember that your buddy from a long time ago, "Mrs. Magpie" - she did a birthday post/bday party on you one time I remember! I have always meant to come and visit. I've enjoyed this post especially: Happy bday to your son and daughter! My own son just had his 21st bday recently and HE is now able to purchase booze legally here in the US! LOL! So congrats to your son. Loved all of your old photos of the kids in this post, plus I saw your previous post of your Mom, Dad, family... don't you love remembering the old, good times? Take care.
Best,
Gloria

No snow here yet either--and my family Christmas is this Thursday, since I won't be able to get home for the actual holiday. What a strange weather year.

Enjoy your family and holiday preparations. :)

Such beautiful children..I can see why you are so proud of them. If you are like me, the heart hurts a bit because the littleness is gone from them but the heart swells at what and who they are now. I love that little pink angel with the dark hair..and the cousins picture..just love all your posts! ;D

Happy birthday to your beautiful children! What a wonderful set of parents raised these remarkable children! Life is very good for you Claudie! You are very blessed with a beautiful family. It is so wonderful! My mother use to say that God blessed me because I had such agreeable babies! I try to focus on the good things in my life or I would jump out of a window because I work with such awful humans! Ugh!
Congrats on raising incredible kids, it is a tough task but we know it has to be done! Love to you and yours
