Let's go VINTAGE shopping

Our little Inn had breakfast waiting for us.
Our waiter was BLAH!! so we didn't let him sign our
autograph book, so poopy on him.

French toast for Miss Bee
and a Brie omelette for me.
I told you this would take me awhile.
Only our second day in Montréal.
And what a day it was, right girls?
We patiently waited for this
VINTAGE shoppe to open.
MONTRÉAL is on a very laid back time schedule.
Not like mine.... let's go,
OPEN THE FRIGGIN DOORS.

 CUL-DE-SAC for sure.
Great store with FUN things from the past.

Waiting for Julie.
Let's go next door girls.
Damn they were skinny back in the 50's.
Sweet Miss Bee with a peignoir.
So pretty.
Another pretty street in Montréal. Rue St. Laurent.
The girls were hungry after all that shopping.
So let's do lunch.
A little Italian?
How about a little Italian waiter
We asked him to "BRING IT ON"
He brought the food to the table,
and we just gobbled it all up.
 This was course #1...
I don't have pics of everything,
but someone does.
We ended our lunch with this
FABULOUS
CRÈME BRÛLÉE
Oh YUMMY
AUREVOIR MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC.
Hello Ontario (that's where I live BTW)

I wanted the girls to experience the little
FRENCH ferry crossing I use.
Well, not only did we get to cross it once for $8.00, we crossed it over and over and over again for
$10 bucks with this FRENCH guy driving.

Wendy trying to cover her bad tattoo.
Pretty CC
Save me save me.
Julie trying to hoola-hoop with the life saver.
Jeanne having her "HA" moment.
Wendy, did you want that cute French man to save you too? He saved Juliet!!
Only JULIET got this ride for free.
My girls, my side of the river, my friends.
Then we HAD to PEE
We REALLY had to pee.
They should have held it, lol.
They really should have held it.
Oh! Wendy feels better now,
or was that another HOT FLASH?
Treated them to some original
POUTINE at my favourite "casse-croûte".
French fries and squeaky curd cheese smothered in
rich brown gravy.
It's a staple around here, like grits to the South.
Not only did CHEY SISY give me
one BIG POUTINE, she graciously gave me
TWO for the price of one.
C'est si bon, right Miss Bee?
I see your tattoo CC

Yes my dear family, I'm still alive and well.
They haven't killed me yet, lol.
Oh, and we HAD TO STOP at a garage sale.
 You never know.
Let's go girls, more things to do.
Randy was waiting for us.
He cooked dinner again.
That's another story.
Yup, this is the reception
every single time
 I come home.

PUPS everywhere.
Next stop
BOLT'S CASTLE
I leave you with our sunset tonight.

Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on Note Songs. Your blog is so pretty, colorful, and full of life!! I love all things Pink too. In fact, we did a post called "A Glorious Color" awhile ago. I especially liked the picture of you in the pink stage coach...so lovely. Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would really enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing all your fabulous ideas and photos. Hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day. Oh, I have a beautiful picture of Canada on the post that I did yesterday.

Ahhh, what fun that ferry boat ride was. I think that French guy was smitten. I loved that pegnoir...wish I had bought it. BUT, I have the one you gave me and I love that one even more!
I had pictures of the food at Casa Napoli. Wasn't it so good - except I don't like calamari. At least I tried it.

I love you!

Hello Claudie,
That is amazing that your dad had such a great attitude considering he lost his legs in the war. I, too, think about my dad often. Your dad would be so happy that he raised such a wonderful girl. Take care my friend,

What a fabulous time you ladies are having. Montreal & Quebec are my 2 fav's. So much history & beauty.

To share with you ~ Sherry & I are heart-sisters, forever. We are still trying to figure who the milkman was .. but nobody is telling, chuckle!

I just spent a wee bit of time with Spencer @ Bellamare Cottage last weekend. She is a beautiful bubble & fell in love with her immediately. So enjoy meeting the lovelies we meet in bloggyville.

Have a fabulous time!

TTFN ~

Claudie, this post is awesome and so much fun. It tells our story perfectly. I love the photos and you have each moment of our day showing the fun we had. It is like being there again. What am I laughing at??? HA!

I am so behind with the things I want to say and do to thank you and all the girls for the lovely and generous gifts. I have had so much going on here. I am finally getting the rest of my things unpacked. No kidding, I am still unpacking. Sigh. However, I am on it now.

I'm going to finish unpacking now. It is my goal before I go to bed. Your post is outstanding my dear friend. Thank you so much for everything Claudie.

Love you to pieces,
Jeanne xoxoxo

Dear Girl #2

I am visiting with my girls this morning. Can you feel it? We just couldn't have fit one more thing into a day. Everything was so amazing. As always.

I am so enjoying everyone elses pictures and the stories that go with them. It's like someone just popped into my head and put it to paper.

"arrosez de jus de citron...." That would be the only difference with my version. Always a little different.
Just like the "listen".. Can't help it.

Love ya.
