Simple request

MY SWEET SISTER LOLOTTE
lost her dear sweet sister Pierrette this week.
Our hearts are heavy.
This is where Pierrette lived, in a cute neighbourhood in Montréal.
We were celebrating Sister's 89th birthday.
Sister's wish was to visit St. Joseph's Oratory in Montréal with her sister Pierrette
It was a wonderful day.
Pierrette had a little problem with her memory, and a little problem with her heart. She's been in the hosp. for a couple of months now. We thought she was going to be ok, but she lost the battle to respiratory failure. She was only 83.
Sister had a big family. This is her last sister. She has one brother left with severe Alzheimer's.
Sister shows NO SIGNS of memory loss at 90 yrs. old. Thank God.
Sister truly LOVED all her sisters and brothers.
We talk about them often.
We talk about our families, and most of all Sister  talks out loud to my mom all the time.
Doesn't she look healthy and beautiful?
Sister making her wish... I'm sure Pierrette was in it.
Burning candles for our family at St. Joseph's Oratory. Mom was still alive and healthy then.

I wanted to share this with you. Sister is explaining how we lost her for a few minutes in the Basilica church. The wonderful part is when her sister Pierrette sings her a song about love.
I will make a copy for SISTER.
I would also like to ask you my dear friends, if you would take the time and write Sister a little note.
It would make her heart smile.
She knows about all of you. I show her your blogs, the comments, and I've even showed her how to email. Not bad for 90 yrs. old.
R.I.P. SWEET PIERRETTE
Please hug my mom and dad when you arrive.
Email me for Sister's address.
xo

My note to sister Lolotte will be in the mail on Monday. Yes, we all fell in love with her this past summer. She is a darling woman and amazing for her age. This loss is sad and I am heartbroken for her sadness. You know how much I love my sisters. I can't imagine losing one of them.

This comment brings much love, many blessings and big hugs to you and sister.

I just watched the video and it is a treasure. Pierrette is a beautiful lady and and I loved her little song. How wonderful that you had this time together with the sweet sisters. How sad to know she is gone and 83 is not that old these days.

Thinking of you with sympathy and love.

This just brought a tear to my eye. Soooo sweet....so tender. I loved the way little sister shrugged her shoulder in such a coy little way. LOVED IT...and her song. How fortunate you are to have this little video. These wonderful pieces of technology that keeps people close to us and allows us to enjoy them time after time.
It was fun to hear SISTER's voice and you laughter.

and I KNOW that Pierrette IS visiting with you mom and dad...and all those wonderful people who were waiting for her. Death is certainly a loss for us here on earth, but what a glorious Reunion on the other side. And that is what makes me smile, and have tears rolling down my cheeks.
Love you sweet Claudie and these wonderful people in your life.

I'm sorry to hear that Claudette! It seems that there are always deaths at the beginning of a new year. I am bracing myself for bad news over here too. Hang in there!

Oh ma belle,

I woke up to late this morning to come and visit my commentors....but I thank you for coming to visit me. I will be thinking of you dearest as you go to Pierrette's "LIFE CELEBRATION" on Saturday. I told Ruben that when my time comes and he is still here, to NOT have an open viewing. I want people (HA! If anyone is there!!) to remember the LIFE that I left behind. May all the GOODNESS and LOVE that Pierrette has left in your heart be celebrated. Oh that Sister Lolotte is just charming! I plan on writing her this weekend.

SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED that you did not receive my little Christmas present to you! Anita

Ahhh.... how sweet is that video.....and that your wonderful sister will have it to look at again and again. Amusing......half English, half French.. Naturally, I couldn't understand half of it, but I loved watching her face. So dear....

I am so sorry about the loss of her sister. It must be difficult for her to have lost her last one.... Of course I'll send a note........send me the address and I'll get on it.
