The Adventure Continues...

 I ♥ my blogging friends.
See that pretty island with a castle on it?
That's Boldt's Castle.
A very special Castle
in the 1,000 Islands

Yes, it is built on an Island.  Mr. Boldt, who was a very romantic kind of guy, built this castle for his wife who he LOVED very much. If you would like to read this TRULY romantic story and how it all came to be, please click here.

On the left is the "PLAYHOUSE".
Yes I said playhouse... for the kids you know,
we all have one of those don't we?
Mr Boldt was so in love with his wife, he had

many things in the house built with ♥'s.
He EVEN had part of the island cut away to be somewhat in the shape of a heart.

These homes are Boldt's castle's neighbours.
4 BOAT garage, nice.
Yes, everything freezes around here.
Here we are, ready to board the boat.
Randy packed us a nice picnic lunch.
That's where I learned lesson #2.
Claudie COULD NOT be a teacher. Thanks Juliet.
My Franklin, N.C. girl, Jeanne.
My Raleigh, N.C. girl, Deborah, Miss Bee.
My GA. peach, CC.
Found a sweet Rosemary "W" for my girl
Wendy from Alberta.
A little "C" for CC

This is the "BOATHOUSE".
So many ♥'s, so little time.

This is what greets all guests.

Juliet writes:
WHERE ARE THE MEN WHO LOVE THIS MUCH?

♥'s everywhere.

I only live an hour and a half away from this beauty.
I was here many, many yrs. ago when they just started refurbishing the castle.
What a change from back then.
Great job N.Y. State.
That's the boat we were on.
It's a lovely hour water ride.
You have to have your passports, coming from Canada, the castle is
on the American side, so passports needed. Get it?
I've always wanted to hug a tree. This was the PERFECT one.

We couldn't jump into this fountain. It was too deep, so Juliet told us to splash...
just SPLASH girls, go ahead.
Now it was Juliet and CC's turn together. And what happens when you wear SILK Juliet?
You get your BOOTY wet, lol.
Thank God it was a nice hot day.
She dried off in no time at all.
Wendy and I making a "SERIOUS"
 wish in the pool.
This is what we were trying to HIT.
We missed, but look at all that coin??

Can you tell we ♥ Boldt's castle?

Glad I don't have to clean those marble floors.
Can you imagine the work to get ALL the supplies from the Mainland.

Paid these kids to listen to me.
It worked.
Bought this in the souvenir shoppe.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
I've always taught my kids that.
I hope they were listening.
WOAH... serious or what?
That's better.
Always SMILE.
Randy says,
"Girls look better when they smile."
Not sure if I told you, but I videotaped most of our outings on my FLIP camera.
I've been posting them on FB for my girls.
It's a GREAT thing.
We can relive our moments together every day I post a clip.
Ok this ends our BOLDT'S castle tour.
Some of you know I'm from Cornwall, Ontario.
I never liked it there, but whatever.
When we got off the boat, Wendy was hungry and thirsty, so the girls thought, "How bad could PUB food be?"
Well this tell's the story.
The end of this adventure.
STAY BEAUTIFUL

Honee French Poodle Friend...I didn't think I could enjoy that day more until I read this post. You do have a WAY with words my sweet friend. WHAT A DAY of friendship laughter and love we had. From the beginning to the end and especially in our heart shape poses! My favorite that day was how hard we laughed and splashed/kicked in that small fountain. Just told THIS STORY, among many others to family at Jon's engagement party...they loved hearing about our adventures. I MISS EVERYONE SO MUCH! Can't wait to see you in October. xoxo friends forever ...and as always, Love you to the Moon & Back friend!

Oh Claudie,
This post was so much fun! That castle is exquisite, and I think it is wonderful that there are so many things in the house he built with hearts in it. The picture of you hugging the tree was so pretty...you should frame that!! The "Nice" button is a good thing to remember always. And the last picture of you was so sweet. Oh, by the way, I wanted to let you know that the picture on the recent post we did WAS a picture of me and the girls. I'm in the middle. Have a good week ahead.
