PAINT IT. AND THEY WILL COME!!!!

So, this is what I HAVEN'T been doing lately.
Only 13 more sleeps before the
"SUMMER BREEZE" girls arrive.
We haven't stopped, well maybe for a few dips in the pool in between all the painting.
I know it looks the same, but I've moved my
little PINK shelf.  No biggy since I can't really
move much in this little cottage of ours... but it's a change, and change is good.
See, it's there behind Randy's lazy boy.
He didn't want it there, but I won.
Audrey is back where she belongs, centre stage.
Going towards our bedroom which I'll have to
show you soon, but my beds not made
and Bonnie and Lucky are in there, alone.
That's better.
Now for the outside.
I'm surprised the dogs aren't all red.
This cart has been painted 5 times, I like it yellow.
Hopefully all this blooming going on will last till the girls arrive.
This is the guest cottage porch.
Have to paint it too.
I DO NOT LIKE TREATED WOOD.
It's only a year old and looks like it's ten, yuck.
Bought this red umbrella for $19.99.
CC, Miss Bee and Jeanne
DO NOT LIKE THE SUN.
I'm a sun worshiper. I know, not good.
A little candlelight for our nights outside.
 Repainted my big old pot.
So much red.
Sunshine yellow goes well with red don't you think Mr. Cement Bear?
 Pondering all the BUGS too.
What the heck is this green stuff anyway?
 I'm waiting girls.
Thought I would try and fly my flag here,
but it's way too big.
It was raining so hard again, I was confined to the garage for this picture.
I also have to paint my screen doors...
not sure that will happen.
 Look at the rain falling.
No watering necessary.
LOVE my bench in the cemetery garden.
We finally buried Molson, Brittany's sweet boy, and our little mama degu.
R.I.P. my little friends.
 This is VIRGINIA, Virginia CREEPER.
Man does she creep.
Does anybody know if I can separate this thing?
She's going wild, with nowhere to go.
The outdoor shower.
I hope the girls bring their pennies, lol.
Oops, how did that get in there : )
I don't want to hear ANYONE complain about the heat around here, you hear MOI?
 The BEFORE garage...
the AFTER.
We are going to have MOVIE NIGHT outside.
This is what I'm hoping to do.
Isn't it charming?
 See you soon Jeanne,
 C.C.,
 Julie,
 Miss Bee (Deborah),
and Wendy, minus the horse please.
UPDATE ON MOM.
Every day gets better and better. It's only been 27 days since her surgery.
She's being released from the hospital on Friday.
She's going back to her apt. with full time help till we find a good long term care facility.
Again, thank you for all your well wishes...
Now back outside.
Hope your summer is FABULOUS.

Claudie, you are working so hard for the summer Breeze party. Everything looks amazing and I adore the colors you are using. It all looks perfect so please get rested up. No more working. You have 13 days to rest before we get there. From the look of all you have done you are on a painting roll. 'Charming' is the best word I can think of. That goes for you too.

It is wonderful news about your mom. I prayed so hard for healing Claudie. Now take one day at a time and hope for a full recovery. I can't stand to know you were suffering with your mom's fall and all that followed on top of getting ready for the Summer Breeze Girls.
Whew, you had your hands full and I know it was a labor of love for you and your sister. My sister's and I took care of our mom at home when she had terminal cancer. It was so hard to see our mom suffering. I know what you are going through except now there is a hope of recovery. She is a survivor and the cutest little thing. I so admire her spunk.

See you soon Claudie. CC asked me to spend the night before our flight and I am going to agree. It makes sense and I will be so happy to have her on the same flight. I am so trying to pack light. Not easy for me. HA!

I love you to pieces. This post is just the best.

What an adorable home you have!!! I love all the color you used in the yard- so cheerful!

Sounds like you are working hard- I had a ladies retreat in May and worked my buns off to make it special- everyone loved all the little touches and I know all the ladies will love all your preparation and pampering! Wish I could come!

I was barely just able to get on your post tonight (it is almost 10:00). We have the crappiest internet service at our house, and since it was stormy/rainy all day, it just wasn't working.
BUT I LOVE THIS.
I am laughing, cause as you scroll down all these beautifull women, and then there is me....in a cowgirl hat and flannel shirt for the love of all that's holy.
OK...I'll leave the horse at home.
If you don't want all of us overstaying our welcome, QUIT making everything so gorgeous.
I love all your color!!!!!
(we are actually getting a cabin delivered to our property within the next 2 weeks...but it is very different from yours, rustic...go figure)
That outdoor theatre setting looks like something right out of a movie. ARE. YOU. SERIOUS?????
How amazing is that.
But, like Jeanne said. STOP
Rest up for us cause you have done enough.
I can't believe this is really happening actually.
Quite the adventure for me. Way out of my comfort zone, but something fabulous to do before I turn the BIG 6.0.
You are more beautiful then all the colors you put on this post my dear.
love ya......

Oh my gosh........no wonder you haven't been doing any resting. Good gravy girlie... You've accomplished so much and everything looks divine... YUM. Love all the red. I'm having that mini-love-affair with red right now...

That's so funny that you have the Ikea spread like my fabric... I could only find the shams! Three of them, actually, all at different times.

What's going on with the counters? Anxious to see what you're up to next.

Huggies,
Spence....

PS... I was just thinking about you when your message came!

Hi Claudie!

First, I was so sorry to read about your hedge trimmer accident, but I did start to giggle while I was reading your comment....in fact, my daughter and hubby had me read it out loud to them. Your description of the event was a hoot! However, I really am sorry that happened cuz I know that even though you have worked your buns off getting ready for your SB Party, you no doubt still have lots you want to do before the girls arrive. Maybe this accident was your BIG message from "above" to slow down and rest so you can truly enjoy your time with the Girls!!

EVERYTHING looks amazing....I know you guys will have the most fantastic time! You did such a great job with your painting! Love it all!!

SO GLAD your mom is doing better!! That's such a blessing.....and the answer to lots of prayers.

Gotta get busy.....the Grand Boy's BD Party is today and I have a little more shopping to do!

Have a great weekend....and REST!!!!!!!!
