"E" is for EASTER FUN

Remember those candle sticks?
Remember that mess?
Well, here's what I've been doing.

Spray painted the glass candle sticks all white first,

Then used some of my favourite spray paint.

LOVE this style of glass candle stick.
Who knew you could spray-paint glass? Not me.

Lavender

Don't worry, lots of PINK ones.

Filled with all kinds of candy.

The lids were easy to spray-paint too.

Little fuzzy chick

More cuteness

Now we're getting there

Had to have some candy necklaces

Haven't made the final touches yet

But aren't they sweet?

Nesting awwww

Vintage Easter card

Purdy, purdy, purdy

And my little cottage kitchen to boot.

Hope your getting all your projects done.
It's my favourite time of year.
It all matches my cozy cottage decor.

Have a great week my friends.

Bonjour Claudette,
I love coming here; it is like going to a special candy store. Your colours make me feel so Happy! That bunny cake is just like I used make for my boys, but used my own recipe; not the cake mix.
Bonne chance!

I love all your spring decor! The candle sticks turned out beautifully! I'm constantly amazed at what a little paint can do. And your kitchen looks like the perfect place for a girl's tea. I'm sure you enjoy the time you spend there!

So pretty! Your "Little Sugar Shack" is looking so sweet! It's my favourite time of year at the Frid house! I did not know either about painting glass. The possibilities are endless! Your jars turned out so beautiful! I hardly have any Easter decorations. It seems to be such a popular time of year to decorate. I'm going to do a turkey dinner Saturday so I can have the rest of the weekend to kick back and have some fun! Such a pretty post. Take care! Sherri XO

Hi Claudie, would you believe I just now looked at my emails today. Marilyn and I left for Hendersonville (2 hours away)at 8:30 this morning, arrived home at nearly 4:00, had dinner at 5:00 and went to see Soul Surfer at 7:00. Arrived home from the great movie and just finished watching Dancing which was recorded. Whew, I am beat. anyway I came over as soon as I saw your email.

I LOVE, your project for your Easter celebration at your sister's home. Everything looks so darling and festive. I love the colors you chose. I want some Easter candy. LOL. I would never think of painting glass and it looks awesome. All your chicks and bunnies are so cute. I was so happy to see the results of your Easter decorations project. I love your new blog look too Claudie. I wish I was as talented as you with an imagination that is outside of the box. Your family will be so pleased with such perfect idea for treats, and festive Easter centerpieces.
I love you to pieces,
Jeanne xoxoxo

Hi Claudie!

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words! I have been so engrossed in that bedroom redo that I have not had much time to blog or to visit any blogs! I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel though!

I didn't know you could spray paint glass either! Do you have to treat it with anything first? It looks fantastic and of course all of your little Easter touches are so adorable. I didn't get any Easter decorations out yet! I seriously need to get on the ball since my family is coming to my house for Easter.

I hope you and your family have a Happy Easter!

Karen

p.s. I didn't even know word verification was still on!!

I think you're getting ready for Grandkids!!! Yup...cuz when you have grandies you are gonna be having SO much fun even more getting ready for Easter. ;) Little Cate has the Strept throat demon this week... :( Not very much fun for a little two year old right before Easter, eh? I "LOVE" the sprayed glass! I'm gonna have to try this. I just quilted a Teacup square that I'll post sometime this week for a Retirement quilt I'm organizing for a friend at work. I get SO inspired when I sew or do crafts. I wish we were neighbors sista! We'd be crafting all the time~ xoxo Hope you had fun shopping today. love ya! HEY...I'm leaving your blog open all day just so I can listen to YOUR Music pics! I'm so nutty... ;
